OUR MISSION IS TO BUILD BETTER HUMANS, BETTER ATHLETES & BETTER LEADERS

Born from a deep-rooted passion for sport and performance, Primed Performance was created to challenge the limitations of traditional training and make high-quality, evidence-based coaching accessible to athletes everywhere. With a background in competitive sport and exercise science, Em recognised that too many athletes were being held back by generic programs and a lack of individualised support — regardless of location.

Primed Performance was built as an online performance business, removing geographical barriers and allowing athletes to access structured, scientific strength and conditioning wherever they train or compete. While the service operates globally, its foundations are grounded in education, performance excellence, and long-term athlete development.

Focused on helping athletes reach their prime — and stay there, Primed Performance continues to evolve as a platform for intelligent training, accountability, and growth. This is coaching designed not just to improve performance, but to build resilient, capable athletes prepared for the demands of high-level sport.

what does it mean to be “primed”?

To be primed is to be physically prepared, mentally engaged, and resilient enough to perform consistently. It means training with intent, setting and maintaining high standards, and executing a plan that is specifically and scientifically designed for you. Being primed requires curiosity — a willingness to learn, adapt, and refine — alongside strength, conditioning, and movement that transfer to real performance.

For those who haven’t met her yet, Em is the founder and head coach of Primed Performance.

Since completing her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science, Em’s mission has been clear: to help athletes reach their prime and stay there — physically, mentally, and holistically. She is driven by the belief that great coaching goes beyond programs and numbers; it’s about building capable humans, resilient athletes, and confident performers who understand why they train the way they do.

As an Exercise and Sport Scientist, Em thrives on the intersection of coaching and education. She doesn’t just tell athletes what to do — she empowers them with knowledge, encouraging curiosity, ownership, and long-term thinking. This evidence-based, individual-first approach is what defines Primed Performance.

Alongside her coaching career, Em has competed as a semi-professional athlete in the Sydney Netball Premier League and challenged herself through obstacle course racing and ultra-endurance events. She’s known for stepping into discomfort, embracing challenge, and leading by example — experiences that shape her empathy, adaptability, and standards as a coach.

At the core of everything Em does is a simple philosophy: prepare well, set the standard, and enjoy the journey.

Education and equality sit high on our priority list at Primed Performance. We recognise that not every athlete is given equal access to high-quality coaching due to location, resources, or funding — and we believe that knowledge should never be a barrier to performance.

While the most comprehensive results come from working 1:1 within our coaching framework, we’re deeply committed to giving back and supporting the wider athletic community. This includes free educational resources, community-based initiatives, and accessible learning opportunities designed to empower athletes, parents, and coaches.

From our free Facebook education group and community workshops focused on women’s health, youth athletes, and parents, to affordable eBooks and alternative programming options, our goal is simple: to raise the standard of understanding, preparation, and performance — for everyone.
